I’m a Cambridge-educated scientist and Oxford-trained strategist with over 25 years of leadership across the global energy sector. I’ve held senior executive roles at organisations such as Shell, Chevron, Gulf Oil, and several international advisory boards. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of public service, innovation, and infrastructure – leading national energy transitions, advising governments, and delivering on ESG, sustainability, and net zero agendas.
Cambridge shaped my thinking and values. As an Honorary Scholar and former Treasurer of the Trinity College Graduate Committee, the University gave me more than an education – it gave me a lifelong purpose. I’m standing for Chancellor not just to honour that legacy, but to help Cambridge lead more courageously into a rapidly changing world.
